School’s Mission

“Empowering children to fulfill their unlimited God-given potential as fearless scholars and conscientious citizens.” Berkeley Hall offers a traditional, balanced program of challenging academics, arts, and athletics, which provides a strong foundation for high school. Development of character has been an essential element of a Berkeley Hall education since the school’s founding in 1911 and continues today in weekly all-school assemblies and the day-to-day interactions between members of our school community. Our campus is situated on 66 acres amidst the natural beauty of the Santa Monica Mountains, minutes from the Westside and the San Fernando Valley. It provides young people with the ideal environment to grow, learn fearlessly, and achieve success.
