School’s Mission

Briskin Elementary School is a private K–6 elementary school committed to creating a soulful and nurturing environment where children flourish intellectually, creatively and spiritually. Our mission is to provide our students with a meaningful educational experience and a passion for life-long learning, Jewish values and traditions, participation in social action and a connection to Israel. Our school will fulfill this mission by:

• Creating a safe and supportive learning environment which provides students with strategies to meet their individual academic, social, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Educating our students through a dynamic curriculum that integrates General Studies, Hebrew and Judaic Studies, and the Arts.
• Connecting our educational program with the vibrant Temple Israel of Hollywood community, a leading Reform synagogue with an 80-year history in Los Angeles.
